Setec reached RoHS compliance
and lead free for all of its products this month.
This follows over a year of intensive work in the
change over from lead based manufacturing to a lead
free environment and removal of other lead based
components as identified in the RoHS requirements. It
involved not only new equipment, but also component
packaging, processing and storage areas. In addition
to this, we completed engineering reviews of
component suitability for new processes, training of
staff, procedural changes and stock management.
Setec is setup to bea compliant
manufacturing facility for products being shipped to
the European Community and world wide, as the world
market slowly adopts this new industry standard.
